November 5 and 12

Please make sure to visit the library or follow the links on the blog entry from last week to complete the very simple assignment for last week: using hyperlinks if possible, find a book and an article by utilizing the search engines listed on the assignment and available on the library's web page.

Next week, November 5, Dr. Holtz will conduct our class, so please make sure to read the short story and the opening chapter of Black Elk Speaks; this chapter contains material that you will encounter again at the John Neihardt Center.

On November 12, we will go on a field trip to this center, leaving the college at approximately 8:15 in the morning and returning at around 6:00 that evening.

Please listen to the following video in which I discuss the projects you will all engage in over the next weeks: begin now to plan, for your individual groups of three or four will make presentations in class the final weeks of the term, which draws quickly to an end.

If you have questions, see me.
